  20. This Demo Version is identical to the Full Version, except for two things.
  21. The introductory sequence has been altered, and all saved pictures are
  22. covered with the word DEMO.

  25. ›32mWELCOME TO STEREOP-JR›0m
  26.  
  27. Stereop-Jr changes regular pictures into real 3-D pictures.  You make
  28. three regular pictures with Deluxe Paint or Personal Paint, then you load
  29. them into Stereop-Jr and convert them into one "stereoscopic" picture.  The
  30. far-off things look really far off, and the close-up things look as if
  31. they're hovering out in front of the screen.

  33. You look at a Stereop-Jr picture through simple, home-made glasses with a
  34. red lens for the left eye and a blue lens for the right eye.

  36. If you have a colour printer, you can make 3-D prints of your pictures.

  38. Even a beginner with the simplest Amiga can complete his first stereoscopic
  39. picture in a few minutes.

  44. The Do-It-Yourself 3-D glasses kit supplied with Stereop-Jr contains a
  45. set of lenses and an instruction sheet with a template.  Follow the
  46. instructions on the sheet to make a pair of glasses that will fit a child
  47. or small adult.

  50. OWN GLASSES in the User Guide. It contains complete instructions (including
  51. where to find the material for the lenses).

  56. A one-megabyte PAL Amiga, Kickstart 1.3 to 3.

  58. ›33m>>›0m PLEASE NOTE that Stereop-2 may be incompatible with certain A1200
  59. accelerators and ram expansion boards.  Some boards can be disabled with a
  60. keypress on bootup.  Others may have to be disconnected.

  65. The StereopJr drawer and its complete contents are necessary to the working
  66. of Stereop-Jr.  You can run Stereop-Jr from the StereopJrD disk with no
  67. installation.

  69. To install Stereop-Jr on a hard disk, copy the complete StereopJr Drawer
  70. from the StereopJrD disk to your hard disk.  For example, to copy it to hard
  71. disk partition dh1:, open a Shell window and enter these two commands:

  73.    COPY StereopJrD:StereopJr TO dh1:StereopJr ALL
  74.    COPY StereopJrD:StereopJr.info TO dh1:StereopJr.info

  76. Or, from Workbench, just drag the StereopJr drawer icon from the StereopJrD
  77. disk window to the dh1: disk window.

  79. Then remove the StereopJrD disk from your system, open the new StereopJr
  80. drawer, and double-click the StereopJrD program icon.  A file selector will
  81. appear.  Use it to locate the SJ-Locate file in the StereopJr drawer, and
  82. double-click the file name.

  99. Before continuing, please be sure that you're working with a COPY of the
  100. StereopJr disk, NOT THE ORIGINAL.  Slide the protection tab on the disk
  101. so you can see through the hole.

  103. Run the StereopJr program from the StereopJrD disk by double-clicking the
  104. StereopJr program icon.  Press a key or mouse button to get past the
  105. introductory panels.  Click the HELP button to read the User Guide.  All
  106. the examples and demos will be viewable from within the Guide.  Click the
  107. User Guide Help button for more information.

  112. While the Main Interface is running, you can grab the screen for a review
  113. or catalogue picture.  If you press CTRL-I, a file selector will appear for
  114. an IFF save.
